Ellise obtained her Bachelor's degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Michigan State University in May 2018, and advanced her education by obtaining a Master's of Education in Higher Educational Leadership with a Social Justice focus from Oakland University in August of 2020. Her love for helping others and working with people started young, but really solidified through her participation in various groups and organizations geared towards mentoring, and the overall advancement of women and the Black community. Ellise is passionate about equity and access issues and hopes to address them through her work in both the education field and non-profit sector. She is a lifelong athlete and lover of sports, art, children, and music.
