Susan Roxanne Gardner is a Clinical Master Social Worker at the Department of Economic Security and the Chief Operating Officer of Kids Turning Corners, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that serves the needs of adolescents in Ingham and Wayne Counties. She received her Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from Michigan State University.
Her recent contributions to social work include, but are not limited to; providing assistance to children who are abused and neglected, decreasing the rates of teenagers in the juvenile justice system, and taking a multi-systemic approach to repairing families. Her research interest includes the effects of family dynamics on young children and teenagers.
